SCRAP GOES DOWN IN TURKEY AND REMAIN STABLE IN THE U.S.

Prices of ferrous scrap fell in Turkey and remained stable in the U.S. this week.

The product went up in Taiwan and India, according to TSI.

The average prices and variation were:


- Turkish imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Turkish port: US$ 194 /metric tonne (-2%)
- US domestic obsolete shredded scrap, delivered US mill: US$ 166 /long ton (0.0%)
- Taiwanese imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Taiwan port: US$ 150 /metric tonne (+0.7%)- Indian imports obsolete shredded scrap, CFR Nhava Sheva port: US$ 202 /metric tonne (+1.0%)
