Six members of the United States International Trade Commission unanimously voted that cold-rolled steel plates from China made material injury to the industry in the US. The US Department of Commerce will impose 256.44% countervailing duties and 265.79% anti-dumping duties on the products from China .
This has been the US' first steel product anti-dumping and countervailing case fulfilling entire procedures since the year beginning.
In addition, the US has been in investigations in at least three trade remedy cases on steel products fromChina . A corrosion-resistant steel plate case, one of the cases, will come under final ruling on June 24 .
