GERMAN SALZGITTER INCREASES FORECAST FOR EARNINGS

German steelmaker Salzgitter has increased its forecast for its earnings in 2016 due to a reduction in the volumes of cheap steel imports into the EU and higher domestic prices, the company said on Tuesday June 28.
