IRON ORE JUMPS CLOSE TO US$ 54

Iron ore jumped this Monday close to US$ 54 per tonne.

The jump happened after the announcement of "strategic conversations" between the Chinese steelmakers Baosteel and Wisco that,according tho analysts, may result in a merger.
