SWEDISH SSAB RESULTS IMPACTED BY MARKET CONDITIONS

Swedish specialty steel producer SSAB has announced that weak market conditions have impacted negatively on its earnings for the fourth quarter of the current year.

This is primarily attributable to lower volumes and falling prices in Europe and North America. 

EBITDA of SSAB in the fourth quarter of 2015 is expected to be between SEK 50 million and SEK 250 million and the operating loss to be between SEK 900 million and SEK 700 million. Market conditions are expected to improve in Q1 2016.
