SCRAP JUMPS TO US$ 208 IN TURKEY AND TO US$ 180 IN TAIWAN; PRICE GOES UP IN THE U.S. TO US$ 203

Ferrous scrap prices were up this week in all main international markets, according to TSI.

The prices went to US$ 208 in Turkey and to US$ 203 in the U.S.

The average prices and variation were:


- Turkish imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Turkish port: US$ 208 /metric tonne (+7.2%)

- US domestic obsolete shredded scrap, delivered US mill: US$ 203 /long ton (+1.0%)

- Taiwanese imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Taiwan port: US$ 180 /metric tonne (+9.8%)

- Indian imports obsolete shredded scrap, CFR Nhava Sheva port: US$ 210 /metric tonne (+2.9%)
