The prices of ferrous scrap went down in Turkey (-0.6%) and in the U.S. (-1,6%) last week, according to TSI.
In Taiwan, the price of scrap remained stable and in India there was an increase of 0.5%.
The average prices and variation were:
- Turkish imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Turkish port: US$ 175 /metric tonne (-0.6%)
- US domestic obsolete shredded scrap, delivered US mill: US$ 182 /long ton (-1.6%)
- Taiwanese imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Taiwan port: US$ 160 /metric tonne (0.0%)
- Indian imports obsolete shredded scrap, CFR Nhava Sheva port: US$ 202 /metric tonne (+0.5%)
