ANGLO AMERICAN LAYS OFF 220 IN THE MINAS-RIO PROJECT IN BRAZIL

Anglo American informed that laid off 220 employees form its Minas-Rio project in Brazil.

Minas-Rio is an operation of the Iron Ore Business section of Anglo American in the country.

The company said that the lay-offs were due to the fall in the prices and also to the instability of the global market.
