SCRAP GOES UP 7% IN TURKEY

The prices of ferrous scrap went up 7% this week in Turkey, according to TSI.

In the other main markets the price remained stable, as showed below:


- Turkish imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Turkish port: US$ 183 /metric tonne (+7%)

- US domestic obsolete shredded scrap, delivered US mill: US$ 181 /long ton (0.0%)

- Taiwanese imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Taiwan port: US$ 138 /metric tonne (0.0%)

- Indian imports obsolete shredded scrap, CFR Nhava Sheva port: US$ 189 /metric tonne (0.0%)
