ANGLO AMERICAN PRODUCES 10% MORE IRON ORE

Anglo American reported a 10% on-year increase in iron ore production in the third quarter, mainly due to the ramp-up at its Minas-Rio mine in Brazil which offset lower output from its Kumba operations in South Africa.The Minas-Rio plant produced 2.9m tonnes of the metal.
