UK BUSINESS SECRETARY ACCUSED OF PLANNING "DEVASTATING" JOB CUTS DESPITE JOB CUTS

Business Secretary Sajid Javid has been accused of planning "devastating" cuts to his own department, which is working on tackling the crisis in the steel industry.
Leaked documents set out proposals to axe more than 4,000 jobs in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (Bis) and its agencies, with cuts deeper than those demanded by Chancellor George Osborne.
The documents reveal that Mr Javid intends to impose an extra £100 million of savings by 2020 on top of the £250 million imposed by the Treasury.
