Based on global iron-ore demand, electronic iron-ore trading platform Tauber Rosenberg plans to introduce new iron-ore products in the near future. Tauber Rosenberg operates an electronic platform for trading physical iron-ore, which was established to create a liquid and transparent marketplace to support wholesale market participants such as steel mills, iron-ore producers and traders.
The new platform fits seamlessly into Tauber Rosenberg’s existing services offering clients the advantage of global access to a wide-range of commodities on a single platform.
The first trade occurred between one of Tauber Rosenberg’s traditional clients and a prominent Chinese market participant. George Baifan, Managing Director of Commodities Asia Pacific, Tauber Rosenberg, said: “The launch and subsequent trades exemplify Tauber Rosenberg’s goal of providing an electronic solution and bridging our traditional customers with the ever growing Chinese market”.
