BHP Billiton reduced its forecast for iron ore output in the fiscal year of 2016, due to the disaster of Samarco in Brazil.
The company announced this Wednesday that the new forecast is 237 million tonnes, what means 10 million tonnes less than the prior estimative.
BHP Billiton has a participation of 50% in Samarco. The other half is from Vale.
