BRAZILIAN GOVERNMENT ACCEPTS TO NEGOTIATE AGREEMENT OF US$ 5 BILLION WITH SAMARCO, VALE AND BHP BILLITON

The Brazilian government accepts to negotiate with Samarco and its owners (Vale and BHP Billiton) an agreement related to action in Justice that asks for a compensation of R$ 20 biilion (US$ 5 billion).

The compensation is related to the accident in a Samarco dam in the State of Minas Gerais, that happened last November.
