Tata Steel UK is facing pressure from its energy supplier to pay its bills up front after an insurance company refused to guarantee its credit.
The steelmaker is having discussions with Npower over how much it will have to pay, according to the Financial Times.
It follows a move by Npower's insurer to withdraw its support for supplying Tataoin credit, the paper reports.
