STEEL PRODUCTION INCREASED 1.2% IN JAPAN IN APRIL; OUTPUT FELL 2.3% IN JAN-APRIL

Japanese steel production increased 1.2% in April, to 8.498 million t, when compared with the same month of 2015.

In the period January-April, however, the production fell 2.3%, to 34.347 million tonnes.
