PECÉM, FROM VALE, POSCO AND DONGKUK, WILL START AT JUNE 5, SAYS GOVERNMENT

The steelmaker Pecém, controlled by Vale, Posco and Dongkuk, will start its operation on June 5, according to the local government.

Pecém is a project located in the Brazilian State of Pernambuco that will receive investments of US$ 5.4 billion.

The forecast is that Pecém will produce up to 3 million t of steel.
