JSW STEEL, FROM INDIA, SAYS INSTALLED CAPACITY HAS INCREASED 25%

India's JSW Steel Ltd says installed capacity of co has increased by about 25 percent from 4.3 mt p.a to 18 mt p.a . FY 2017 crude steel production estimated at 15.75 million tonnes . 

Pipe conveyor system for transporting iron ore from yard near the mines of vijayanagar plant will be set up with a capacity of 20 mtpa . Will build water reservoir facility to augment storage capacity of water at vijayanagar plant . 

Estimated project cost for pipe conveyor system is inr 6.5 billion, expected to be commissioned in 24 months . Estimated project cost of water reservoir in vijayanagar is 5.20 billion rupees and is expected to be commissioned in a period of 26 months . 

Co's unit is setting up a tin plate mill at tarapur work at estimated project cost of 6.50 billion rupees, to be commissioned in 24 months . To set up in first phase 1.5 million tonnes per annum coke oven plant at Dolvi through DCPL with total cost of 20 billion rupees .
