André Gerdau, president of Gerdau, won't be obligated to go to the Parliamentary Inquiry in the Congress that investigates irregularities in the Brazilian governmental comission that centers on exposing fraudulent activities involving Brazil’s board of tax appeals, a unit of the finance ministry.
Gerdau was scheduled to go to the Congress to talk about the matter but congressmen decided this Tuesday that he will not have to do it anymore.
André Gerdau was indicted on Monday by the Federal Police accused of non payment of taxes.
