CSN DENNOUNCES NIPPON STEEL AND TERNIUM OF DIVERSION OF RESOURCES OF US$ 6.3 BILLION

The Brazilian CSN entered with a lawsuit in the Justice asking for the suspension of the injection of capital in Usiminas, proposed by Nippon Steel and Ternium.

CSN, that has a participation of 17% in Usiminas, accuses Nippon Steel and Ternium of diversion of resources in an amount of 22 billion reais (approximately US$ 6.3 billion) in contracts firmed by Usiminas with other companies.
