US STEEL AND KOBE STEEL ANNOUNCE NEW PRESIDENT FOR JOINT VENTURE PRO-TEC

PRO-TEC Coating Company, a 50/50 joint venture between United States Steel Corporation and Kobe Steel, Ltd., of Japan, announced this Thrusday that Richard E. Veitch has been named the President of PRO-TEC Coating Company.  

This change is effective Jan. 18, 2016.  

Veitch succeeds Brent Rosebrook, who had been serving as Acting President since Bryan Vaughn's retirement in June 2015.

Veitch, General Manager at Granite City Works in Granite City, Ill. since March 2009, will be succeeded by Michael Terry as Acting Plant Manager.  Terry will report to Matthew Perkins, General Manager of Gary Works.
