NIPPON STEEL DENIES THAT IS PLANNING TO BREAK UP USIMINAS

Nippon Steel issued this Wednesday a statement denying that it was planning to break up Usiminas, and a spokesman said the focus was on financial restructuring and completing an equity financing.
