SCRAP FALLS IN THE U.S., TURKEY AND INDIA THIS WEEK

Ferrous scrap had fall in prices during the week in U.S., Turkey and India, according to the TSI.

The data are for the period Sep 21-25.

The average prices and fall were:


- Turkish imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Turkish port: US$ 196 /metric tonne (-3.4%)

- US domestic obsolete shredded scrap, delivered US mill: US$ 202 /long ton (-12.2%)

- Taiwanese imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Taiwan port: US$ 160 /metric tonne (0.0%)

- Indian imports obsolete shredded scrap, CFR Nhava Sheva port: US$ 219 /metric tonne (-3.5%)
