USIMINAS APPEALS AGAINST THE DECISION THAT ALLOWS CSN TO INDICATE NAMES IN THE SHAREHOLDERS MEETING

Usiminas appealed this Tuesday to Cade (Brazilian governamental comission of economic defense) against the decision of the Comission that allows the rival CSN to indicate names for the election of representatives in the shareholders meeting scheduled for Thrusday.

Usiminas says that the president of Cade, Vinicius Carvalho, has no legal competence to allow the "flexibilization" of the agreement that doesn't allow CSN to make these indications.

CSN has a small participation in Usiminas.
