The Department of Commerce announced preliminary anti-dumping duties in the cold-rolled sheet trade case, with China receiving a 266% duty, and also Japan a 71% duty, Brazil a 39% duty, and the other four countries receiving various duties as well.
Commerce also found that critical circumstances exist for producers from China, Japan, and Russia.
China, Brazil, and Japan, which supplied 9% of the U.S. market, received hefty duties.
