STEEL DYNAMICS RAISES DIVIDEND

Steel Dynamics on Wednesday raised its dividend and said first-quarter earnings would come in well above Wall Street expectations.
The Fort Wayne, Ind., steelmaker and metals recycler expects earnings of 22 cents to 26 cents a share for the three months ending March 31. That compares with analysts’ estimates for 19 cents a share, according to Thomson Reuters.
In the fourth quarter of 2015, the company reported a loss of $1.04 a share.
Shares in the company, which have added 24% over the past three months, recently were flat.
