Japanese stainless steel scrap imports from United States rose sharply by 132% month-on-month to 1,749 tons in January from 772 tons a month early, as per the latest figures released by Japan’s Ministry of Finance (MoF).
According to MoF, Japanese imports of stainless steel scrap advanced significantly by 22.21% to 8,857 tons in January as compare to 7,247 tons in December 2015.
