Ferrous scrap prices went up this week (Nov 9-13) in Turkey, Taiwan and India, but fell in the U.S.
The data are from TSI.
The average prices and variation for the period were:
- Turkish imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Turkish port: US$ 199 /metric tonne (+3.1%)
- US domestic obsolete shredded scrap, delivered US mill: US$ 166 /long ton (-0.6%)
- Taiwanese imports HMS #1&2 80/20 scrap, CFR Taiwan port: US$ 150 /metric tonne (+7.1%)- Indian imports obsolete shredded scrap, CFR Nhava Sheva port: US$ 201 /metric tonne (+0.5%)
