BRAZIL WILL SUE BHP BILLITON AND VALE IN US$ 5 BILLION DUE TO THE DISASTER IN MARIANA
The Brazilian government, together with the states of Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo will go to the Justice against Samarco in order to guarantee the resources for a recovery plan after the environmental disaster that happened in the beginning of the month in Mariana, State of Minas Gerais.
The action is calculate in R$ 20 billion (approximately US$ 5 billion) and the tarde are Vale ad BHP Billiton, companies that control Samarco.
Sources say that the government will start the process next Monday (Nov 30).
The announcement was made this Friday (Nov 27) to press in Brasília (the Brazilian capital).
