HRC PRICES FALL IN EUROPE AND ASIA BUT GO UP IN THE U.S.

HRC prices went up in the U.S. but fell in North and in South Europe and in Asia. The data are from The Steel Index and refer to the last week (Oct 5-9).

The main prices and variation were:

- N.Europe (€/tonne) 344 (-3.9%)

- S.Europe (€/tonne) 293 (-9.3%)

- USA (US$/short ton) 431 (+0.2%)

- Asean Imports (US$/tonne) 281 (-0.7%)
